About Us
PDEBM was formed in November 2018 by group of pioneer aesthetic doctors lead by Dr Ungku Shahrin. One of the main aims of the Society is to facilitate the development of Aesthetic Medicine in Malaysia and to create a platform to unite the collective voices of Aesthetic Medicine practitioners together creating a better sustainable field that is united.
The Society has organized yearly conferences since 2018 called IMACE, as it strongly believes in promoting proper evidence-based education and research in Aesthetic Medicine. As we merge to a stronger future locally and internationally, we strive to create a benchmark to allow all our fellow doctors and colleagues to share knowledge, skills and network with the likeminded and to improve upon cooperation and diversity in this vast field.
Our corporate culture cultivates passionate, talented problem-solvers focused on performance with industry leading teamwork and responsiveness. We work hard to gain a deep understanding of our fellow physicians needs and our doctors challenges are treated with urgency and respect as we work relentlessly to create a better industry for all doctors and patients alike.
PDEBM Goals
- Provide cooperation to the government and its agencies in implementing the basics of the state especially those involving this field of profession
- Improving the level of professionalism among members
- Produce and disseminate information related to field issues this profession
- Caring for the general welfare of members
- Assist in KKM aesthetic medical practice division in conducting screening matters for aesthetic doctors
